I probably mentioned this in the past.  I have had plans to create a video game based off of the Sonic SatAM cartoon series.  I still haven't gotten rid of the idea, no worried.  There's just one question I have, what game engine should I use to create it?  I have two in mind: Unity and Unreal (specifically the Unreal Development Kit).  I don't know which one to use, UDK or Unity?  I still use 3ds Max to make the models, animations, and video cutscenes (which will be edited using Sony Vegas) but what engine should I use?  Your thoughts?

Hmm, it mostly depends on you, but I can teach you the way of Unreal Technology if you ever get lost, almost every aspect (Textures, Meshes, UI, UnrealScript, Level Design, Cascade etc.). Plus Xaklse has developed a source code called SonicGDK. I got some gameplays in my journal, even including the one where I used Sonic Generations' Tails. I've contributed in the beta UI creation and level design tutorial. You can see my channel in [link]
