Manic and Megan

This is my entry for Toni's contest. In this category I had to draw one of her OTP's. The pairing I chose was Manic and Megan. I chose this pairing because, in Toni's universe, Manic is a lady's man and a womanizer whereas Megan is disgusted with men due to a very bad breakup. She is also Tails' older sister.

I remember years ago I asked Toni if there was a fanfic where Manic and Megan started to fall in love with each other, but she said there's no one story where that happened, it was something that evolved over the years. Not one incident started it, they just grew together as time passed.

With that in mind, I thought that in this stage of their lives, Megan knew she was in love with Manic... BUT she wasn't going to look "easy" for him... nor did she want it to BE "easy" for Manic. Manic was trying to pull a Joey-impression (from the TV show "Friends") on Megan, but Megan is playing hard-to-get. I did research about that, and the reason girls play hard-to-get is because they enjoy the thrill of the chase and they want to "test" how badly the boy really wants them but for the right reasons. I can see Megan as one of those types, especially to someone like Manic.
