Chaos saving the Universe

This is my entry for Toni's contest. In this category, I had to draw a scene from one of her fanfics. The one I chose was "Knuckles - Family Reunion" because, not only was it short, but it was close to my heart because I enjoy seeing siblings in stories.

Chaos is supposed to be Knuckles' little sister who was raised by Athair and never got to meet Knuckles until she was 11, which happens in the story. Chaos is owned by LemonKitt but she disappeared from the Internet a long time ago... so, in a way, Chaos IS Toni's when it comes to usage and development, but not OFFICIALLY Toni's. Oh well, I enjoyed drawing Chaos, I love her to bits! This is the scene I drew her in:



Athair stood up from his chair. "Chaos!"

"Chaos..?"

"Like you were named after the Knuckles tribe, she was named after the original guardian of the emeralds." Athair smiled, "Not to mention she can behave rather 'chaotic' at times. Chaos!"

"Not now, Gramps!" a younger, female voice responded from the back of the cave, "I'm in the middle of saving the universe here!"

Knuckles raised an eyebrow, but Athair simply shook his head. "That girl and her video games... Chaos! Come here this instant! There's somebody I want you to meet."



Granted, I know according to the story, my drawing doesn't happen "on screen" but I thought it would be cool portraying Chaos playing video games as well as her first spoken line. A few things to mention. That TV she's playing video games on is a Sony KDF-55E2000 television, a 55" LCD 720p TV that's in my bedroom right now! I bought it for cheap on eBay and I love it so much! It may not be up to modern standards, but it still has a beautiful high-def picture and I play my video games and watch TV on it all the time.

One more thing... look at the video game she's playing. Chaos is playing "Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction" which is another video game franchise I love playing so much. And technically, in that game, you ARE saving he universe so I figured it would make sense.
